Networks Northwest’s Cyber Security Summit will address​ areas of concern and action for small business owners.

Community Growth Grants Available in Northwest Michigan

The 2017-2018 Regional Prosperity Initiative Community Growth Grants Program will focus on Community Dialogue initiatives. The grant program is intended to strengthen our region’s capacity to develop and implement economic strategies by building connections between governments and other stakeholders; raising awareness of community needs and preferences; and providing opportunities for community input.

Northern Michigan Trail Promotion Project Wins Governor’s Award

A project designed to promote trails in northern Michigan has received the Governor’s Award for Innovative Tourism Collaboration. The Up North Trails Collaborative won in the category of Non-Traditional Partnerships for its upnorthtrails.org website and trail promotion efforts connected to the website.

Networks Northwest Board Announces Leadership Transition

Throughout 2017, Networks Northwest will transition to new executive leadership. Current CEO, Elaine Wood announced that she will retire at the end of 2017 after 42 years of service to the organization.

Networks Northwest Director of Strategic Initiatives Elected to National Board

The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) has elected Matt McCauley to serve on its board of directors. McCauley is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Networks Northwest. He was elected at NADO’s annual business meeting October 27 in New Orleans.
